Rovio Entertainment announced on Thursday, January 10th, that it rolled out 30 new levels for its Angry Birds Space app. And to be more precise, the developer rolled out a brand new water galaxy update: the Pig Dipper episode. The update introduces unique water physics, strange aquatic life, and never-befor-seen power-ups, like the Pig Puffer. Check out the video below to get an idea of what Pig Dipper is like.
?It's the weirdest galaxy yet: all the planets are filled with water, strange aquatic life and worst of all -- Bad Piggies in boats! Use the unique physics of these water planets to set up some fun trick shots. Also, check out the brand-new power-ups: Flock of Birds, Space Egg, and Pig Puffer. HINT: Make sure to check how Ice Bird and Pig Puffer react to water!? said Rovio Entertainment.
The Pig Dipper update is available for Android and iOS at the time of writing this. Rovio explained that the new episode will be rolled out to other platforms in the near future. In related news, Rovio recently announced that its Angry Birds game was downloaded more than 8 million times on Christmas Day and more than 30 million times during Christmas week, between the 22nd and the 29th of December. Across all platforms, the Angry Birds game was downloaded more than 1 billion times.
